Wilpshire Wanderers Under 8 at Accrington Stanley
On Saturday 18th February the Wilpshire Wanderers Under 8 squads attended the match between Accrington Stanley and Plymouth Argyle at The Crown Ground. The lads were mascots prior to the League 2 game and played a couple of 10 minute matches on the pitch at half-time. Stanley were 2–0 down at half-time and ended up losing 4–0 on the day. Consequently, the biggest cheers from the Accrington fans came at half-time when the lads were playing and demonstrating how to put the ball in the net!
